If you are going to sell any type of product or service online you will have to optimize your website for the search engines, in order to boost traffic and sales.

It is because over 90% of your business will likely come directly from search engine results. And for that reason, it is absolutely important to optimize your site for search engines for you to have the greatest deals in the entire world. Updating your website everyday and adding some materials will help you get noticed by the search engines.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process by which webmasters or online business owners utilize strategic copy to augment their website's status. Making use of effective search engine optimization techniques will improve the page rank of your website.

There are many tricks that can be used to increase page rank.

the most effective method is to provide high quality content consistently. This seems like a simple concept but there are many websites that fails to provide content that visitors find interesting. Sites which provide content that are interesting, well-written and regularly updated create highly engaged visitors who are more likely to return to the website in the coming days. So, if you can set your website apart from those boring, lifeless sites then do it. You'll surely have a step closer to achieving high page rank through search engine optimization.

Next step is to include keywords and phrases within your content.

You have to make sure that the keywords and phrases you have on your site are the keywords and phrase that your site is actually optimized for. The more keywords you use in your content, the more likely it is that online visitors will find your site when they do some research with those words. If you are adopting these techniques, then your overall search engine optimization will increase.

Boosting your page rank.

You should also have to develop a linking strategy as a part of your search engine optimization. Not only does this provide free advertising for your site, but it makes the impression that your site is imperative because of its affiliated links.

For each link that you have pointing back to you, that is another chance for your potential customer to find you. The more inbound links that you have pointing to your site, the higher you will be ranked in the search engines.

Always keep in mind that search engine optimization methods are important in developing your site's status. With that thing in mind, make sure that you write high-quality, keyword rich content and link your site to and from a deliberate family of other sites. These things will help improve your site's popularity and coerce increased business through your online business.

On Page SEO Optimization Made Easy

SEO is the one of the most important skill sets any internet marketer should have. It's one of the easiest and most profitable forms of traffic any website owner could receive. Search Engine Traffic is not the easiest to obtain however. One of the most important things a website owner should learn is how to optimize their web pages specifically for the search engines.

First things first, you should have your keyword picked out and ready to go. Once you've got that you can proceed to optimizing your web page.

It's also recommended that you have a rudimentary understanding of HTML.

Title Tags

The first thing you should do is include your keyword inside the title tags. The title tags are the first elements right after the head tags. They look like this

<title></title>

It's best that you include some other related text after you input the keyword. If my keyword was SEO I'd input something like

<title>SEO - Tips And <a href=http://beautyweightloss.com/weight-loss/top-secret-fat-loss-secret-is-one-of-the-most-effective-weight-loss-products/>Tricks</a> For Optimizing Webpages</title>

You can also add the title element to your outgoing links.

Header Tags

Header tags are in my opinion the second most important part of on page optimization right after optimized content. Header tags look like

<h1></h1> and should be placed right before the content of your website. You should always place your keyword in header tags with a few other words relevant to your content. Also, always bold your keyword in your header tags.

Bold Your Keywords

It's always a good practice to add bold tags to your keyword when in your content. Bold tags look like

<b></b> and your keywords should always be enclosed in them whenever they come up in your content.

Image Alt Tag

If you can swing it, your keyword should be included in the alt tag of one of your images. The ALT element can be added to an image if it isn't already. If you need help with this part of on page optimization then I suggest you look it up at htmlhelp.com.

Keywords In Your Content

You should always include your keyword in your content. It's always better if you keep your keyword density around 3-6%. Keyword Density means your keyword should make up 3-6% of your content. Content should always be unique and relevant to your website.

If you follow all of these steps and techniques you should be on your way to ranking over your competitors. Remember, on page optimization isn't the deciding factor when it comes to rankings. Build your links and create good content for best results.

Aggressive Article Marketing Strategies That Will Rake In The Big Bucks

Article marketing is one of the very best ways that you can market your business. The main advantage over many other advertising methods is that the leads convert up to 10 times better than other sources and it is also free.

In this article I would like to go over the basics that you need to do to succeed. Article marketing is very time intensive and if you do not spend time writing for a few hours a day then I suggest that you use another method of promoting your website.

Here is the formula that I use to achieve success promoting my business using this method. This works for me and there is a good chance that it will work for you to.

The most important part is to have a killer title that grabs attention. I have extensively tested this. Articles with boring titles seldom create much of an impact for good results. The other important factor that you need to consider is choosing your keywords correctly and including it in the title. If you do not do this you will get traffic from the directory that you submit to, but not from search engines where people are searching for information.

The next important part is to help your reader. You need to share information first that will help them. If you give first you are more likely to receive. If you share a slice of your expertise there is a much greater chance that your reader will join your newsletter and become a paid customer.

Finally, make sure that you have your unique selling proposition in your resource box. This will be your 30 second elevator pitch that will make your reader want to click through to your website.

Article Marketing - Does It 'Really' Work For You?

I've been hearing things about people saying that submitting articles to article directories is 'folly', and that it is merely generating content for the directories. That is a misplaced kind of thinking.

When you submit your website to Google, you are adding content to their search engines!

When you do pay per click, you are giving money to Google or Yahoo or whichever search engine you use. When you submit posts to forums, you are generating content for the forums.

Nobody lives alone on the Internet, you have to depend on authority sites to generate traffic for your websites! Even the gurus need authority sites, they just make the authority sites richer so THEY can get richer.

Do you see where we are going with this?

So don't listen to those people who say that writing and submitting articles to article directories is just generating content for the directories. Chances are they are pumping in cash into the PPC networks or adding more money into another Press Release submitter's coffers.

Go out and do what works for you. Mutual benefit; the Internet is about mutual benefit. And article marketing is about that.

Go and write your articles and submit them to the best directories, that's all how you will get maximum leverage out of them and start generating a steady flow of traffic to your site. After all, when you submit your articles to a site like Squidoo or to a forum, you are doing the same; you are generating content for them.

Article Marketing Secrets That Sell

Article submission to article directories is one of the most effective ways to promote your business. Article marketing is free and can attract targeted traffic to your website.

Internet marketing articles need to have an attention grabbing headline that contains your keyword. Articles need to be informative and relevant to your targeted audience. It is also helpful to optimize your articles for search engine rankings by writing in keywords. The keyword density that should be used is open to debate. Originally, webmasters found that a 6-7% density worked well to attain a high search engine position. However, the writing was generally appalling with this type of density and often web pages were nothing but a form of spam that offered nothing of value to the reader.

Since then, search engine algorithms have become more sophisticated in an effort to catch out these poor value websites. Now, some SEO marketing professionals recommend a keyword density of between 3-4% while others recommend a density of only 1-2%. There is also a strong movement towards organic writing that doesn't bother with keywords at all. This movement is supported by Google's latent semantic indexing algorithm. Latent semantic indexing (LSI) looks for words and expressions that have a similar or connected meaning to the main keywords used in an article.

When people provide genuine information and write naturally, they tend to use a variety of related expressions. They are therefore likely to be considered by search engines to be high value, genuine sites. One of the most successful, organically written websites is stevepavlina.com. His traffic and business has risen exponentially over time and he has not used SEO strategies at all. For article marketing, you may want to test your market by writing with a low keyword density and include expressions with a similar meaning to appeal to Google's LSI algorithm. Test your results by monitoring website traffic numbers. You can also write some articles that don't use SEO and compare the results.

Articles need to be written in plain English. If English is not your first language and you are unsure of colloquialisms and grammar, consider paying for a freelance writer to write your articles for you. This does not have to be expensive. Try to keep your paragraphs and sentences relatively short. Some longer sentences are fine but generally speaking keep it simple and to the point. Most article directories have word limits. Try to keep your articles under five hundred words. If you cannot do this, the article can be separated into two parts with links to the other part of the article.

The keys to successful article marketing are to write well and write often. You cannot simply write one or two articles and expect them to make a difference to your business. They are a great way to generate free website traffic but you have to submit articles regularly. The result is exponential. A good rule of thumb is "an article a day will make articles pay." Having said this, make sure your resource box is written well and has links to relevant pages on your website. You won't get any visitors from article marketing if your readers aren't enticed to click on your link.

Tenets of Content Writing that You Shouldn't be Without

More and more people are getting into the hype of content writing for one simple reason: there is much money that can be earned in this industry. In fact, if you would just take the time to look at the figures, then you would most likely see content writing at the top of the list of online marketing methods that have been garnering much profit during the past few years. You can even say that content writing has gone beyond being just one of the hypes and trends you find in online marketing. Content writing is definitely one of the best online marketing methods any person can delve into.

However, just because any person can indeed try their luck in content writing does not mean that they would be successful in the endeavor. Content writing is not just about providing content whenever you feel like writing. Your content has to be fresh and captivating to your readers so that you can pull them to your site. What's more, your content has to be as idea-filled as possible so that you can entice the imagination of your readers.

With compelling offers that grab their attention, what reader would want to look away from your site? Here are some tips on how you should go about venturing into content writing, aside from being a good writer yourself, of course. This is already a given that need not be discussed at all.

The first thing to consider is your website. Your website has to give off that professional image that many readers look for. If you would look at the common blog site, well, you would certainly see that a lot of these sites are more personalized and customized. This may be good for a blog site, but when it comes to marketing strategy, it would actually be better to maintain a professional image for your website. Make sure the information you upload onto your website are indeed useful to your readers.

Aside from being useful, your information should also be interesting. What content writer would not want their articles to grab the full attention of readers? And you have to go beyond just grabbing their attention because you have to retain this, from the very first word to the very last word of your article. Smarts and wits are needed here, as well as being knowledgeable about the topic, of course. Make sure that your content contains facts, and not just a bunch of hearsay that you can find all over the web.

Lastly, you have to make sure that your content is written very well. Readers are very picky when it comes to the articles they read. Really, an article full of grammatical and punctuation errors present serious letdowns for just about any reader. Once these errors are smoked out, readers would simply close their browsers and look for other more reliable sources.

Keep these tips in mind when you want to try your hand in content writing. You won't notice significant results overnight. But with time, effort, dedication, and a lot of practice, things will definitely turn around for you in no time.

Article Marketing Tips - What To Do If You Can't Write A Single Word Today

It's not always easy to come up with new and interesting ideas for your articles, especially when you write several articles every single day. If your content isn't good, your income will suffer. You absolutely need to find a way to get a constant stream of new ideas.

Many article marketers own several websites, blogs and other squidoo lenses. Updating all this little real estate empire can quickly become a really daunting task. What to do when you are in front of your computer and can't write a single word?

Sometimes, this happens. It's weird, but there is nothing you can do. Let me tell you what to do when you faced this problem.

1. Go away from your computer

Just do something else. Sometimes, you don't realize it, but you are exhausted and your body need to rest. You may just sleep and take a day off as well. This helps a lot. When you come back, you will find out that you are way more productive.

2. Browse a forum

If you are not in the state above and you are completely relaxed, this is only a sign of the common writers block. To get some ideas and get started, you can browse a forum about the topic and I'm almost sure you will quickly get some ideas.

3. Read a book

If you can go to your local book store and read a book on the subject, this will help you a lot.

4. Search engines

You can also perform a search on Google and see what people are talking about on the top 10 websites in your niche. Do any of these, and you should quickly get new ideas that will help you take your article marketing efforts to the next level.

Article Marketing - Key Words? What Are They and How Do They Relate to Article Marketing? Part IV

In the previous articles you learned a lot about key words and how they are used as tools by people who are looking for information. Then we found out that just about everything on the internet is tracked. Because of this, we are able to learn more about what people are looking for and we can even see how many websites there are trying to supply information, products or services to the people that are looking.

Let's make up a scenario based on what we have learned and how it would be used in real life. This is just a fictitious example. Let's say I decided I wanted to promote an affiliate program for website hosting. I am just going to lay out for you what my train of thinking would be.

I do some key word research and I come up with 200 key words related to website hosting. After researching those words, I find 30 that aren't looked up the most, because all of the most searched words had too much competition. But I found 30 that are looked up regularly but don't have the huge numbers of suppliers with sites with those key words.

Now I do some research on those 30 words, and make sure I have plenty of good information and get a very strong understanding of the ins and outs of hosting. Then I write 3 articles for each key word, using the key word in the title of each article. I do this assuming that the hosting company that I have chosen to sign up as an affiliate for, has a very good product, and an excellent sales letter already provided for their affiliates (me).

Now here is the magic of article marketing. First, even if I knew a fair amount about my topic before, you can just imagine how much better I know the topic after I have written almost 100 articles. Second, I put a squeeze page in between my article readers and my hosting company.

How do I do this? I write a quick sales letter offering a free report on the ins and outs of choosing a web hosting company. This is easy, because I just wrote almost 100 articles. And now, I get the name and email address of everyone that clicks one of my links in my articles to get the free report before reading the sales letter of the hosting company.

Now you might be asking yourself, did I miss something? Is it really that easy? Why does this work? How do paying customers get to my affiliate link to buy web hosting? Next I will explain this to you from the customer's perspective because that is how you will see just how good it really does work.

What if Dan Iverson could show you how to write about any topic on earth and make money? He'll teach you how to better understand human nature as it relates to e-commerce; how people, from their perspective, come to make a purchase on the Internet. I am talking about learning how you can pick a topic of interest, write about it, and with the right tools and a little research find connections between your readers and real products and services, of which you can become an affiliate and make money. Here is the best part. I will teach you all of this absolutely free. That's right, click on this link and you'll get the full Affiliate Masters Course Free. This is no joke, I promise once you start to read this course, you will see and learn the logical system of affiliate and information marketing. Top 7 SEO Mistakes to Avoid

You've got your new site up and you're ready to get it optimized for search engines. Where should you start? There are plenty of articles and advice on the Internet on how you should go about it and there's a lot of information to absorb. When applying your SEO practices, make sure you avoid the following no no's:

  1. Omitting the Title, Description and Keyword Meta tags. I've seen it first hand many times - potential clients contact me interested in a re-design because their site has been up for over a year and they have no traffic or page rank. I check their source code and sure enough, they don't have any tags. If you go to Google Webmaster Help Center, you'll see they encourage you to have title tags.
  2. Leaving "Under Construction" on your pages. You want your site to be seen as something that is evolving and continually changing so people will come back? Don't put up "under construction" or "continually under construction". The search engines will ignore you.
  3. No Links! This is a must for your website, you need to have them. Link to relevant sites from your site and have some incoming links from relevant sites too.
  4. Keyword stuffing. Cramming your pages full of keywords is going to shoot you down in the SERPs. You need to do research on keyword density and keep your pages within those ranges.
  5. Hiring a dishonest SEO service. You get what you pay for. If you want to have legitimate results, hire an expert service and expect to pay anywhere from 2-5 k per month. Do your research and make sure to check references by speaking to the former clients personally over the phone. If you hire a service that "guarantees" top placement, you are most likely getting ripped off.
  6. Using important text in images. The robots and spiders don't recognize the text in an image. If you have something important you want shown on your page, use text!
  7. Dead links. Make sure you check your links frequently. If your links aren't live, guess what? The crawler is leaving your site - dead end.

You can use free services such as SiteReportCard.com to check on your site optimization and find areas that need improvement.

When doing SEO for your site, be honest and provide information to your viewers that is of value and is true to your product or service. If you stick to those guidelines, you'll come along just fine. Remember, it's not a lightning process and it can be done without spending a great deal of cash. Do your research and get started today!

Mass Article Submission is Killing All Article Marketers

Article Marketing has long been one of the most powerful forms of online marketing. But, in the past year or two its effectiveness has taken a huge hit. The reason for this hit is mass distribution of articles to hundreds of article directories.

So few article marketers realize the importance of unique content to Search Engines. This is why they are turning to mass article distribution. They think the more sites that contain their articles the better.

This was true in the past but extensive testing and tracking clearly shows that submitting your articles to only a few of the top article directories will provide much better results.

What are the effects of Mass Article Submission?

The negative effects that mass article distribution creates can be seen from two angles:

Author - The actual article is no longer unique in any way, as it appears on hundreds of URLs across the Internet. This is looked at as a light form of spam by the search engines. Their robots will crawl these pages and in most cases put them into their index. But, although these article pages are in the index, they will not receive the traffic they would have gotten if they had been submitted to only a few authority sites. Now the author will not get the exposure he or she intended.

Article Directory With more and more authors submitting their articles to so many other Websites, the article directories do not have content that is unique to their site. This means the article directories are not nearly as effective for the authors as they once were, in turn hurting the author once again.

If you think about it, submitting your articles to the masses is actually shooting yourself in the foot along with all other article marketers.

Imagine how much more effective article marketing would be if everyone submitted their articles to only five or ten article directories. Each of these article directories would skyrocket in the search engines higher then ever creating MUCH more exposure to all article marketers.

To see exactly how I use articles to conquer just about every niche I touch, take a look at my new Article Marketing Ebook "Article Marketing Domination" at http://www.articlemarketingdomination.com/ where I reveal all of the secrets on how to run a successful article marketing campaign!

Crucial Online Marketing Strategies

The most important online marketing strategies that can help you be successful with your business on the web include building a plan, blogging, an email list, press releases, and more.

The first and most important strategy is building a successful plan for your website and your business. What do you want to accomplish with your site and who do you want your audience to be?

How is your website going to be better than the rest? Know these things and make all of the answers to the most crucial questions a part of your plan.

Writing press releases and submitting them online and to all the local media outlets that you can think of is crucial to getting the word out about your existence. In addition to press releases, write articles and submit them all over the web.

Enter blog sites and talk to people about your site and products. People will be curious about it and check out the site.

Once you determine who your audience for your site will be, it will help you build an email list that you can send out notifications to about your products and sites. Email is free and very helpful.

Promotions and free stuff on the web people look for. Hold promotions, contests and things on your site and it will help improve the traffic and sales.

Another important strategy is to optimize your site for searching. This means making sure your site is found by crucial keywords.

These online marketing strategies are the most crucial to building the most successful site possible.

Article Marketing is the #1 Traffic Strategy

Once you apply the multipliers which is search engine data for content sites, affiliate programs for sales sites and then after one-time promotions, my #1 strategy which I have found to be the most effective method of getting traffic to new sites as well as old is submitting articles with a short promotional blurb in a resource box at the end of the article.

There are many avenues to get your articles distributed. You can posting articles at EzineArticles.com or GoArticles.com, Associated Content and SearchWarp all good places to submit. You can also use services like iSnare.com or ArticleMarketer.com and pay to have your articles distributed. Another way to distribute is to use software like Article Submitter Pro or Article Post Robot.

There is nothing wrong with any of these techniques. I have used them all successfully. But there is a much, much more powerful method of article marketing that most marketers miss- ezine and newsletter marketing.

First I want you to get a grip on the potential of article marketing and then I want you to get a grip on how small of a slice of the pie the above methods cover. Go to Google and type your one word topic followed by the word "article" and then followed by the word "articles". So if your topic is "golf", then search for: golf article, golf articles. Then repeat the above process using "ezine", "ezines", "newsletter" plus "newsletters". I want you to make a note of how many search results are returned for each of these -these are the results your competition is missing. Thousands of article marketers are all competing for the attention of just a tiny fraction of the total market for article distribution, while missing the important ezine and newsletter channel for distribution.

This is where ArticleROI can be a powerful tool in your arsenal - it submits to hundreds of built-in ezines and newsletters, and allow you to add an unlimited amount of your own, custom publishers.

How To Write Your Resource Box To Get People To Click

In this article you will read how to solve a big problem for effective article writing and marketing and be provided with an easy solution that works.

I get dozens of questions everyday from people asking how to improve their sales using their resource box at the end of every article submitted.

There is NO one single formula. You really need to test, test and test again.

As your potential customers read through your article they will arrive at the resource box at the end of it.

This is where most article marketers fall short. Yet, it's a vital aspect because without a compelling resource box aka bio you are simply wasting your valuable time.

If you have a website about puppies and dogs you could write an article about "3 Fantastic Ideas On How To Train Your Puppy Within Minutes".

When your reader gets to the end of your article they will see the resource box and a link to your site.

You want them to click on the link and see what you have on offer on your site. This could be items for dogs and puppies, books or services such as dog training, dog-sitting etc.

You are probably asking "What should be in the resource box to make it more effective"?

Here is the simple answer to a problem most people have.

The resource box usually contains the name and a brief description of the author. It should also have a short description of the site and a link to the site.

Just as the article needs to "grab you by the arm" so does the resource box in order to grab the attention of the reader.

Here are two very important aspects you need to remember to be effective.

1. The resource box is small and will be limited in the number of words that can be used. Therefore, it's important to use the right keywords and entice the reader to click on the link and visit your site.

2. Every person that clicks that links and visits your site is a potential customer. As there is so little space you need to learn about proper keywords that people are searching for.

There are plenty of free keyword tools online that can help you to determine what the best keywords are for your niche.

In your resource box make sure you are as creative as you can be and make the most of the space that is available to you.

You always want to make sure that you capture your reader's attention so that they visit your site to look into your product and or service that you provide.

When you use the proper content and trigger their imagination you can make them intrigued enough to click on your link which leads to the desired outcome.

Always be sure that you use keywords and phrases that are targeted to your type of site and do not try to mislead your potential customer.

If your site is about golf and golf tips and you only deal with one particular brand then make sure you make that known in your bio.

Once you realize that you only have one chance to create a lasting impression and to grab your reader, you will never again underestimate the potential of the proper 'grab you by the arm' resource box.

Even if it's very small, it can still be a very powerful way of driving quality visits to your niche site.

A boring resource box will not help you at all and will not produce the amazing results that you could get which means lost sales for all your hard work.

SEO Tips - 3 Steps to SEO Made Easy (Part 2)

"SEO Made Easy". Welcome back to the 2nd part of SEO Tips - 3 Steps to SEO Made Easy. Our first 2 steps to improve your SEO rankings for our blog posts or web pages are:

Step #1 - Choose Your Keyword

Step #2 - On-Page Optimization

Let's look at the final important step in SEO Made Easy:

Step #3 - Off-Page Optimization

One of the factors that affect our site's ranking in search engines is having backlinks or inbound links (IBLs) linking back to our sites. This is a highly sought after factor for high SEO ranking, so much so that some people are willing to pay money to get a high ranking. So, how can this be achieved?

  1. Placed Links These are links that YOU can place intentionally by yourself. This is the easiest and most used method that I employ these days to increase my number of backlinks to my blog or websites so as to improve your SEO rankings. You can do this by several ways:

    i. Submitting to Article Directories - When submitting articles to directories, submit to directories that have at least a page rank of 3, like www.ezinearticles.com. This is a great article directory and when your quality articles are copied to blogs or other article directories, you link could get "viral" very fast and you could gain up to 50 backlinks with just one article.

ii. Posting in Forums & Comments- When you write a post in forums, for your signature, just post your blog or website link and anchor the text. This will create not only a free back link but when people read your forum post and they like what you post, it will attract them to click the link and you "drive" traffic to your blog. There are many forums out there. Register and try out: www.warriorforum.com.
Another method is to post comments in blogs and include your signature and a backlink back to your website or blog.

iii. Submitting to Social Bookmark Sites - Users can save links to web pages that they want to remember and/or share on the social bookmarking sites which are usually public for people to see and view. We can post our blog post to social bookmark sites like www.digg.com, del.icio.us, www.reddit.com. Of course you can post to many other social bookmark sites. An easy free online tool to do this is at www.OnlyWire.com which you can use to submit to 18 popular social bookmark sites with the click of a button.

  2. Link Requests You can find sites that are related to yours and send them an email asking them to link to your site. It does work sometimes, so if you're up to the task, go for it. If you're going to do this, remember to be sincere. This could also be done asking the blogger or website owner to review your site or blog. If the website is high in page rank in Google, this will definitely boost your SEO ranking in search engines like Google.
  3. Paid Links You could buy a review from paid review sites like www.reviewme.com. A tip on paid links is to search for sites that rank in the top 10 of your keywords. Find a page that ranks well, but that is not in competition with your site, and send an email to the webmaster, offering cash to add a link to your site from the web page. You can offer $20, $50, $100, or whatever you think is fair.

There you have it. These are not an exhaustive list of SEO techniques for your blog or website but are sufficient for you to get really good results! These are the 3 most used Steps to SEO Success that I always use and are effective to improve your ranking in Google for your keyword search. Try it out and if you have any comments... do post your comments to me below.

Thanks for reading and good luck in your SEO tinkering!! Ciao.

Going Away for the Holidays? Pack Your Laptop!

Mobile workers arent the only ones packing up their Laptop PCs for traveling, it appears to be a growing trend among vacationers as well. In a recent study, more than half (51 percent) of those surveyed said they would bring along a laptop computer on a future vacation. Thirty-four percent responded that they've already vacationed with their laptops. So why are people taking along their laptops on vacation? Apparently, its mostly because of their addiction to email.

Email is the most common use of laptops for vacationers, with more than 70% of people checking or sending personal email while on vacation. But work-related email sneaks in there too, with 43% of vacationers admitting to checking or sending email that is work-related.

The availability of Wi-Fi hotspots has definitely increased the convenience of using a laptop while on vacation, and wireless Internet connectivity has become a must for most computer users. With wireless technology widely available, you can reach your customers anytime, even while they are vacationing almost anywhere in the world.

So if vacationers are packing their laptops, make sure your email marketing programs don't take a vacation! Stay on your regular schedule of email marketing initiatives (e-newsletters, sales flyers, etc.), because your messages will still be seen by your customers, even if they are not in their offices.

Breakthrough Article Marketing - Revealed - 4 Fast Secrets to Make Money With Article Marketing

Did you know that article marketing has been used way before the internet was discovered? Years back, businessmen who are looking for great deals in advertising their products and services used to trade their articles with newspaper for free ad space. Since newspaper owners did not need to pay their contributors, the arrangement worked for all parties involved. This is the same concept that made article marketing an instant hit. Webmasters do not have to shell out money to cover their advertising costs but still get the exposure they need by banking on their writing skills. Here are the 4 fast secrets to make money with article marketing:

1. Make your articles informative. When online users read your articles, they expect that they will get something from it and that is information. To satisfy your readers' needs, make sure that the information you provide are highly relevant to their pressing issues and are timely.

2. Focus on the quality of your articles. Sometimes, even if you offer the juiciest and most sought-after information, if you are unable to present them in a logical, easy to understand manner, you will not get the nod of online users. To prevent this from happening, make sure that your articles are well-written and flow naturally. Your sentences must be well-constructed and they must be coherent to avoid confusion among your readers.

3. Stick to your writing style. If half of your articles are upbeat and the other half sound very stiff, you maybe projecting two different personalities and this might confuse your readers. Master the best writing style that works for you, stick to it, and be known for it.

4. Proofread before you submit your articles. Before distributing your articles to various publishing sites, make sure that they do not contain errors that can affect your credibility.

Write Articles to Promote Your Online Business

Business owners employ all kinds of strategies to get desired results in the highly-competitive world of online marketing. The key is to drive in targeted traffic to your website and then get the visitors converted into customers. For this to happen, you need an appealing website along with competent brand promotion strategies.

Most businesses today are aiming at optimising their websites for encouraging search engine optimisation results. Paid advertising, affiliate marketing and email marketing are some of the other most commonly used techniques by marketers. However, it is imperative to note here that most of these techniques involve the use of money in some or the other way.

Here lies the importance of article writing as a means of promoting a site. Highly effective, inexpensive and easily manageable, this strategy can truly take your business to new heights. The greatest advantage of writing articles is that you get to reach out to a targeted segment that comprises your potential buyers.

Produce good write-ups and then share or post them on online platforms like article directories and e-zines. By doing so, you ensure that your website is well-exposed in the online marketplace. You can get a link back from the directory where you submit your articles, or else, give information about your company in the resource box. Since link exchange strengthens off-page SEO, this tactic will do a world of good for your site.

More than anything else, these articles are free advertising tools for your website. If you write relevant and informative stuff, you are bound to get noticed, and that too by targeted customers who are looking for related topics. However, a writer has to ensure that his write-ups do not have a marketing touch, because many directories refuse to accept such articles.

One of the most effective means of website promotion is marketing through search engines. Writing articles can help you in this regard. Incorporate important keywords and write search engine friendly articles so as to attract search engine spiders and get your site crawled.

Once you have posted articles and shared them on online forums, you will start getting comments, references and testimonials from web users and webmasters. This will stand your site and business in good stead and further get you high-value traffic.

How Does Your Article Performance Compare With The Averages

I am frequently asked how many URL clicks or how many page views can be expected with the average article. And, although I keep good records, Ive never done any research on that. In preparation for this article, I did a search on Google and found tons of research on website page views per visitor, but I found nothing on average page views for individual articles. So, in the interest of research, I compiled this information based on articles that I submitted to the largest submission site over the past three-months.

Keep in mind that I submit articles everyday. Therefore, some of the articles were submitted three months ago and some of the articles were submitted in the last week. Also, the information below represents the average performance, some articles did ten times better and some did one tenth as well.

Page Views

Page views are the lifeblood of your article business. The number of page views your article achieves determines all of the other performance figures that your article attains. Over this time period, my average article received 56 page views.

URL Clicks

The number of times that readers click on the links in your resource box is one of the main reasons that most of us write articles. On average, 3.7 readers have clicked on my links.

Some of my articles have had as many as 17% of the readers click on my links. This is an unusually high percentage. Using the average page views and URL clicks above, 6.6% of those who read my articles click on my links.

Ezines Published

My average article is published in 1.8 ezines.

Use the information posted above to compare the performance of your articles versus my three-month sample. Id be very interested in seeing how these numbers compare with others who write articles on a consistent basis.

Article Writing Methods that Grab Their Attention

One of the best ways to promote your business online is to write articles and distribute them to thousands of publishers across the internet. Publishers and website owners are constantly looking for good, original content for their websites, and chances are pretty good that if you've submitted your article to various article directories, that your article will be read and used in someone's newsletter or on their blog. This is a fantastic way to get the links to your website in front of the public's eye, which leads to clicks, which may lead to sales. This is why article writing is so important to your online business.

A good article should have a title that captivates those who see it. There are millions of articles circulating around the internet and posted in article directories, so you want to make sure that your title stands out from the rest and makes a reader want to click on it. The title should cover the main topic of the article, but it's also a good idea to include relevant keywords in the title that you use to promote your website. For example, if you have an article-based website, and one of the keyword phrases you use in your site's meta tags is "writing articles", then you should have the term "writing articles" in your title which will help it get picked up and indexed by the search engines.

I cannot over-state the importance of keywords when writing articles. It's great to sit down and write an article about anything and everything, but if you want your article to be easily found, you want to include good keywords throughout your article. What do I mean by "good keywords"? Good keywords are keywords that people use when they do a Google, or other search engine search to find what they are looking for. For example, "make money online" is a popular keyword phrase that people might type into the Google search box. If this is one of the keywords you are targeting, then it's a good idea to include this in your title and throughout your article.

However, if you want to avoid competition for over-popular terms such as this one, you may want to use a keyword research tool to choose keywords that get 5000-10000+ searches per month. "Money making ideas", for example, is popular, but not so competitive that you can't achieve a higher rank in the search engine listings if you use it in your title and throughout your articles. You can go even more specific than that and find lesser searched terms that you will have little competition for.

The introductory paragraph should include your chosen keywords at least once. Remember that you don't want to clutter up your article with your keywords just to get noticed by the search engines because those search engines will know what you're up to and it may backfire on you with the opposite results of what you expected. You don't want to get penalized for trying to get noticed! The main body of your articles should also have your keywords scattered throughout, and your concluding paragraph should again state your keywords once.

Article writing is not only about keywords. It's a great idea to write in a style that comes naturally to you, as if you were almost talking or telling your own story, in your own way. This is what really separates original articles from the rest. An easily flowing, conversational style of writing is best, which shows your own unique character. The articles written by ghostwriters may sound like they are generated by a machine rather than by a live person with personality. This may turn out looking more like duplicate content, which you definitely want to avoid.

Remember that the main elements of a good article are a captivating title, an introductory paragraph with good keywords and a bit of a teaser to make readers interested in reading more, a main body scattered with good keywords written in a conversational tone, and a concluding paragraph that includes your keywords once. If you can do all that in about 600 words, and write as many original articles as possible, you've found the key to promoting your business online!
