Keywords and Improving Search Text for Optimized Web Pages

Search engines now represent a major method of Internet access for many users. These search engines allow users to enter words or phrases (known as key words), and then yield a list of websites relevant to those key words. With the huge growth in size and complexity of the Internet, the power and convenience that search engines offer have quickly grown to become one of the best ways to browse the Web.

Because of this, many webmasters have realized the importance of formatting their web pages properly, in accordance with how search engines work. Getting more visitors (known collectively as traffic) is every webmaster's goal, since the success of a given website is usually proportional to the size of the audience that it reaches. The means and methods of making a given site or page more accessible and attractive to search engines is now known as search engine optimization, or SEO. Here we discuss some of the basic concepts, which are keyword selection and search text improvement.

Since search engines operate mainly around keywords, webmasters must have a firm grasp of how they work. Search engine optimization bases itself on a set of target keywords, for which it is desired that the website appear on search listings. For instance, a computer dealer might want to get listed higher up for the keywords "online computer sales".

The previous example actually is also an example of a not-so-good keyword choice. The rule of thumb is to choose relevant keywords that are as specific as possible to your website. Relevance of course refers to how related your target keywords are to the actual content of your webpage. Think about it: if your website is optimized for keywords that are totally unrelated to your content, the visitors you receive might turn out to be not interested in your website, after all!

Specific keywords, on the other hand, are desirable because of the huge amount of competition for more general keywords. There are millions upon millions of websites on the Internet, and the more general keywords would be relevant to a larger portion of these websites. By choosing more specific keywords, you would be able to narrow down the competition and be better able to optimize your website effectively.

After creating a list of good keywords, it is time to actually improve search text, or that is, the text within your web pages. The important thing to remember here is to actually use your target keywords within your body text. Edit your existing text, if necessary, to incorporate as many of your keywords as you can, up to a certain extent.

Keyword density refers to the frequency of occurrence of a particular keyword, and a good figure to shoot for would be 8 - 10%. Any higher than this and there is a chance that the page would be marked simply as spam by search engines. And besides, at that point the sheer repetition of keywords has a good chance of making the body text sound unnatural!

Link Popularity - The Secret Article Marketing Method To Boosting Your Backlinks Effortlessly

Building link popularity from backlinks can be a tough task at times. We all know having high-quality backlinks (especially one-way links) is one of the keys to great link popularity and super high search engine rankings, but yet not all of us succeed in getting the links to take our website's traffic to another level.

Well, one method to building one-way backlinks really fast is from article marketing. What is article marketing? It is the submission of informative articles to article directories for the purpose of getting traffic and getting backlinks. In other words, not only will you get free incoming links, you will also get traffic directly from the articles themselves.

If you want maximum results, you should be submitting to as many article directories as possible. Now obviously this is difficult. There are hundreds of directories out there and it will literally take a lifetime to submit all your content to all the websites.

There's a solution: using an automated article submitter. Such a service submits your articles to hundreds of directories for you at an affordable price. Some popular submission services include Article Marketer and Submit Your Article. These services will do all the grunt work for you.

This is an uber quick way to generating hundreds and even thousands of backlinks in a matter of just days. Whenever you launch a new site, take advantage of this method to see higher search engine rankings. It's one of the proven ways to better search engine optimization that exists today.

Article Marketing - Latest 3 Persuasive Steps to Excel At Article Marketing

Article writers cannot be more in-demand these days. With millions of webmasters constantly seeking for articles that they can use in their article marketing campaigns, they can indeed keep millions of article writers busy for a while. With it's proven ability to generate traffic and communicate the webmaster's knowledge and abilities, article marketing is fast becoming the most sought-after traffic-generating tool.

Here are the latest 3 persuasive steps to excel in article marketing:

1. Determine the use of your articles. Article marketing isn't just about submitting your articles to publishing sites. It also pertains to the distribution of your written materials in the internet using other different avenues. Thus, in writing your articles, you have to determine its usage. Are you going post them on publishing sites, on your blogs, on your website or perhaps you'll send them through e-mail marketing. In doing so, you can effectively plan the elements that you will incorporate and other add-ons that you will strike out. You would not want to use your articles with resource box on your own website, do you?

2. Be specific. Explain your ideas by giving concrete examples and specific information. For instance, if you would like to teach your readers on how to make money online, cite specific methods like blogging, article writing, and affiliate marketing, instead of telling them to google search certain terms to get the information they want. If you already have the information, why not just give it upfront? It will not only help your readers but it can also be your effective way of getting your potential audience's trust.

3. Be original. Don't be just another writer. Be different by exhibiting a new level of creativeness in your articles. Develop unique methods that can easily be associated with you so you can make a huge mark online.

Part I - Linking Practices That Will Hurt Your Search Engine Rankings

Quality linking practices are encouraged by the major search engines as an acceptable way of improving site popularity, website traffic and help contribute to higher search engine rankings. As a webmaster you must be wary of engaging in poor linking practices that have the potential to strip your website of its ranking status on the major search engines Google, Yahoo and MSN.

In this two part Article Series we will firstly discuss those linking practices that will find your website penalized by the major search engines, with the most current controversy over 'paid links'. Google has recently penalized several sites with ranking drops for violating its quality webmaster guidelines by selling paid links. This penalty can also be applied to those sites displaying 'paid links' that are considered spam or of low quality by the search engines and provide users with a poor browsing experience.

Not all paid linking will be penalized, the current focus tends to be on those links that are primarily being used to manipulate search engine rankings. Purchasing paid links may also affect your rankings if the originating site selling the links is considered to be a 'bad neighborhood' site by the major search engines, your site's rankings can be affected by association. As a general rule, avoid companies selling links who are promoting paid links that are 'hard to detect by a search engine' and with the recent increase in the reporting of paid links to Google, their ranking algorithms are being adjusted to detect such paid links.

The advice from Google on paid links is that it's okay to promote paid links that are aimed at increasing website traffic but are not being used to manipulate search engine rankings. If you are using paid links:-

Add a 'no follow attribute' to the linking info, for more information on how to do this see Google Webmaster Tools

You can also redirect the links to an intermediate page that is blocked from the search engines with robots.txt file.

Clearly define paid advertising links on your site to the search engines ie. with a 'sponsored link' title heading.

Another linking practice that is discouraged by the major search engines is using Link Farms to artificially increase a site's link popularity. Link farms are usually classified as a website or web page that displays a series of links to other unrelated sites and displays no content of real value or interest to site visitors. These types of links pages are usually created by automated software programs and services. To avoid being caught linking to a 'link farm' vigorously check all link exchange requests and the reciprocal URL location of your link on their site. Link farms will be obvious in nature as no actual web content will be present for site visitors except links and often the link exchange will be represented as a '3 way link' exchange.

3 Way Linking' has been an emerging trend over the past 12 months and is designed to quickly boost the search engine rankings and online presence of the requesting link partners site by anonymously building link pages that have no direct link to them so that they can't be penalized by the search engines for deceptive SEO practices. 3 Way Links are of little or no benefit to your site or your linking campaign as typically the third party site that your link is located on has no content relevance to your own site or worse still it is just a 'link farm'. Once again your site's search engine rankings can be penalized by association.

Check link exchange requests carefully as often 3 way linking practices are hidden in the link request, in some cases you may agree to a link exchange with a site whose content is similar to yours only to find that when the link exchange is completed that your link has been placed on a third party site. Often the site requesting the link exchange does not even have a links page set up on their site. 3 Way Links can also be represented as 'triangular link exchanges'.

The final linking practice we will look at is 'Cross Linking'. Excessively cross-linking sites of unrelated content can and will violate the quality webmaster guidelines of Google, Yahoo and MSN. This linking practice is generally used to artificially increase the number of links to a site and link popularity with the main aim of manipulating the search engine rankings. Even if you are the owner of multiple sites it is unwise to cross link them if the content of the sites is unrelated.

I came across a prime example of cross-linking recently when analyzing a potential new client's site for SEO & website marketing recommendations. What I discovered was that their existing SEO provider had excessively cross-linked their site to all their other clients sites under the disguise of 'site map' pages which were not only numerous in quantity but also keyword stuffed. This practice has somehow gotten past the ranking algorithms of Google and Yahoo most likely because the pages were being represented as 'site map' pages however the site had been penalized by MSN with no rankings showing whatsoever.

The only way of bringing up the site on MSN was to type in the site's direct URL address. The site owner was completely unaware of this breach which was explained away by this SEO company as the search engine results for MSN being inconclusive on the day they were searched for reporting purposes. To a novice, this explanation probably seems viable - so website owners be wary and don't be afraid to ask questions as to why your site is not receiving rankings in at least the top 10 pages of the search engine results for Google, Yahoo & MSN especially if you are paying for professional SEO services. Avoid automated software being added to your site primarily for SEO purposes, organic search engine results are certainly achievable without the application of automated software which usually displays web pages of lower quality than your main web pages and certainly be wary of site maps being developed for your site in the format I have described above. These are generally placed in the footer of your home page with the words site map preceding them, followed by an A - Z listing of site map web pages. This doesn't apply to software added to your site to record site statistics for performance analysis.

Positive linking practices will be discussed in Part 2 of this Article Series.

Google and Understanding Page Rank and What it Means to YOU

Google Page Rank is an important measurement tool of how you are ranked by Google. PageRank is their perception of the quality and creditability of a in individual web site/page. Google reports this as a number from 0-10 (10 being the best). So if your web page and your competitors web site has the same relevance - then whomever has the higher PageRank gets the better ranking. This is why PageRank is so important.

There is near unanimous agreement that PageRank is primarily determined by the number of web sites or pages that are linking to your site. Google considers these links as a vote of confidence. They are always seeking relevancy and value. They also rank the "links" to you and believe me not all links are created equal. In other words, the more credibility that the link has, the more important it is to your ranking. How is this credibility determined? They use their PageRank (of course) to determine the link value. As an example, let's say that your best friend Mark has a web site or blog and he links to you. Let's also say that Mark's PageRank is 3 and has limited inbound links. This link from your buddy will certainly help you because Google loves inbound links but it help you more if you can find 100 or more Marks web sites with a PageRank of 3 to link to you.

If you can get a single link form a web site that has a Page Range of 6, it'll help you more than 100 Mark's sites. Why, because the PageRank 6 site is considered more valuable and relevant. From my research, it appears that Google PageRank falls into four broad categories:

0-3: New sites or sites with very minimal links

4-5: Popular sites with a fair amount of inbound links

6: Very popular sites that have hundreds of links, many of them quality links

7-10: Usually media brands (USAToday.com), big companies or A-list bloggers.

Now, it's important to note that PageRank is believed to be calculated on a logarithmic scale. What this roughly means is that the difference between PR4 and PR5 is likely 5-10 times than the difference between PR3 and PR4. So, there are likely over 100 times as many web pages with a PageRank of 2 than there are with a PageRank of 4. This means that if you get to a PageRank of 5 or so, you're likely well into the top 0.1% of all websites out there. If most of your competition is ranking around with a PR2 or PR3, you're ahead of the pack.

How do you determine your PageRank?

There are at least two ways to figure out what your approximate PageRank is. One, you can download the Google Toolbar (the PageRank feature is not turned on by default, so you'd have to enable it after installation).

The other way is to use the Page Rank Calculator. There several very good free calculators on the net and some require no registration. Check them out and if you are a PR6, please email me immediately. It's quick, free and requires no registration. Check it out. If you have a PR6 or higher,

Why is this important?

Most web site owners are paranoid about their Google ranking. By knowing your page ranking will help you to make the changes or additions to your site to improve your content and value to not only Google but to those other web sites that potentially link to your site. As almost every writer about Internet marketing or SEO will agree that great CONTENT and FRESHNESS are key to your overall success on the Internet. Get Ranked!

Profitable Article Marketing - Discover 5 Great Ways to Make Money Through Article Marketing

It is no secret that article marketing is currently the best product and website promotional tool in the internet today. Webmasters simply love it as it continues to bring favorable results not only in terms of augmenting traffic, profits and sales leads, but also in securing better ranking on search engines.

1. Increase the chances of your articles being picked up and republished by other webmasters by making them all content-rich, informative, useful, attention-grabbing, and keyword-rich. This can potentially increase the number of inbound links for your website that can lead to increased traffic and more sales leads.

2. Create compelling titles. Your headlines are your only tools in getting people to take interest on your articles when they are shown on search page results together with other articles written by different authors. If your titles are attention-grabbing and enticing, your articles will stand better chances of being opened and read.

3. Keep your articles short. People online generally prefer articles that run 300-500 words. Why? Because they are easy on the eyes and more interesting to read compare to lengthy articles. Besides, online users usually do not have much time to spare when they are looking for information over the internet.

4. Keep your sales pitches off your content. Avoid making your articles sound like sales letters. Remember, in order to convince your readers to visit your website is to give them information that they will find useful and relevant to their needs. Reserve your sales pitches for your resource box.

5. Pick the best publishing sites. Submitting your articles online can be a tedious and time-consuming task. It would help if you can identify the article submission sites that can give your articles the exposure they need and just ignore those which do not have steady traffic or not indexed by Google.

Secrets To Achieving Quality Links

When it comes to SEO, link building is by far the hardest part to get right but once you do your set for higher website rankings and more targeted traffic being to your website.

There are a number of things to remember when link building for your website:

#1 - To Buy or Not to Buy

When buying links you really do get what you pay for. The more expensive your links are to buy the better they are for your site so avoid purchasing mass links for a bargain as these can actually be damaging to your websites ranking.

#2 - Good Links

The best kinds of links are ones which come from universities or government agencies and search engines play favourites with these kinds of links so if you can obtain one for your site it is sure to boost your ranking to the first page within a relatively short amount of time.

#3 - Bad Links

The worst types of links are backlinks from gambling, pharma and porn sites. These can be detrimental to your websites ranking so avoid these at all costs.

#4 - How to I get more?

There are a number of ways to get quality links to your website without purchasing them.

The first is to actually ask for them. You can do this by emailing the webmasters of sites that you wish to link with you and request a link exchange. If you can obtain a phone number it is a good idea to call and make a request as you can use your selling powers to get their link.

Submitting your articles and Press Releases is also a great way to obtain those quality links and will help in driving up your website ranking as the search engine robots will be more attracted to your pages.

Real Estate Marketing Strategies: 7 Tips to Thrive in Today's Market

In today's changing market, many real estate agents are wondering what to do. Some have gone through a cycle of shock, disappointment, fear, and now confusion. What seemed to work in yesterday's marketplace isn't working today, so what to do?

The truth is that there are many opportunities in today's market for success. This article will give you 7 tips to thrive in today's market.

Tip 1: Listen to the media with discernment

As you know, the media likes to paint a negative spin on everything to get more sales. There's a saying, "if it bleeds, it reads." Lately you've been hearing a lot of scare tactics from the media. When you're buying into the ideas that are presented, notice how you feel. Do you feel motivated and raring to go?

No, you probably feel demoralized, unmotivated, and downright scared. Guess what? As you feel these feelings, you are radiating energy to prospective clients that stop them from wanting to move forward. "Whatever you give out comes back to you multiplied."

That might explain why your phone isn't ringing.

Tip 2: Look at the facts

The economic forecast is actually quite different than what the media is spinning. Here's what you need to know to get you motivated, and in action:

interest rates are still at an all-time low

we've gone through the worst of the dip

indications are that prices will start to rise

In other words, according to the experts, the worst part is over and houses will begin to sell again.

Tip 3: Put up boundaries on negativity in your environment

You probably know what environment I'm talking about. I'm talking about being around other real estate agents.

Many of the clients that I'm currently coaching are busy creating a positive mindset. How do they do it?

They tell me, "I don't hang out with real estate agents who are negative. I would rather ride in my own car than hear the negative buzz."

Well done, I say, Don't let anyone rain on your parade.

Tip 4: Monitor your own self talk

No one knows how to create negative chatter in your mind, more than you do. With the flip of a switch, you can turn off negative self talk and give yourself positive and encouraging self talk.

Here's how you can spot negative self talk. It will sound something like:

"I don't know if I can succeed in today's market"

"I don't know if there's enough business to go around"

"maybe it's time for me to get a 'real job"

After working with real estate agents for the past 10 years to help them to double and triple the incomes, I have found an easy technique to intervene and create a positive mindset.

The next time you notice any negative self talk, just say STOP! Then take a breath and put in some positive new thoughts. Here are some examples of positive thoughts I have helped my clients create:

"I have what it takes to succeed in any market"

"there's more than enough to go around"

"the bottom line is - no matter what, people will always need to buy and sell houses"

"I do work I love and Im richly rewarded"

What does this do? This creates a positive, affirming mindset so that instead of asking the question, "can I do this? you ask, "how can I do this?"

Tip 5: Find and educate buyers

With an abundance of homes that need to be sold, and interest rates still low, what a wonderful time for buyers to get a great deal.

Your job is to find them, and educate them on this rare opportunity. Use all your prospecting methods, but direct yourself to reaching the buyers. When you do reach them (or they reach you), only give energy to the ones who are highly motivated and have to move. Be sure to have a buyers agreement with you, so you'll be compensated for your hard work.

Tip 6: Be clear on what makes you unique

As you begin to market yourself to buyers, be sure to present reasons to them as to why they should work with you instead of another real estate agent.

When I present this idea to my clients, they often go blank. Does this ever happen to you? If so, then with the help of a mentor or a coach, have someone help you discover your strengths.

For example, one of my clients did not realize how much she had going for her. She was a great negotiator, very attentive to details and at the same time was very personable. She would bend over backwards to be sure that her clients felt comfortable. When she realized her uniqueness, her business grew, as she realized how much she had to give.

Tip 7: Use the Law of Attraction to attract your ideal clients

The best way for your business to grow and your income to triple is to be attracting your ideal clients. Your ideal clients will be pleasurable to work with, they will appreciate your service and will demonstrate that to you with a full commission, and they will refer people to you.

The Law of Attraction would say: visualize clients you want to work with, see yourself working with them now, and feel what it feels like to have an abundance of ideal clients. If it gives you joy to serve them, then radiate that joy and watch how it magnetizes those ideal clients to you. This is the difference between having work you tolerate and work that you love.

Follow these tips, and you'll be thriving in any market.

Back Links - What Are They, Why Do I Need Them and How to Get Them?

Search engines use a number of criteria for ranking websites. No one can say exactly how the search engines weigh their criteria, since the search engines protect this information as a trade secret. But SEO experts are able to give us a reliable picture of what we need to do to get the highest visibility in Internet search engines.

The three keys to search engine ranking are content, keywords, and back links. Ultimately, a high ranking in search engines is the result of high traffic. How do you drive more traffic to your small business website? Content, keywords, and back links.

The content of your website must be chosen carefully and with plenty of research. A lot of websites look pretty with flash designs, detailed artwork and pictures. If you have a small business, then concentrate on that with your website. You are not trying to impress prospective clients with all of your fancy technology on your website. Use your website to find leads, entice customers, and make long lasting relationships.

Content, meaning the text and descriptions of your business and your services, should be chosen carefully. You can choose the right content by doing keyword research and using many keywords in your web pages filled with facts, portfolios of your work, and newsworthy information.

Don't try to trick them! A small business website with 50 pages of hot air won't fool the Internet community. Keyword-stuffing will only work temporarily. When visitors find nothing but fluff on a website, they won't go back and they won't create word of mouth in their own blogs and websites. When your traffic drops, the search engines find out in a hurry and the bottom falls out of your ranking.

What are backlinks? Back links are backward links. Basically they are links that point back to your website, blog, etc. They are somewhat like trail markers that you can leave, pointing passersby to take the path toward your homebase.

How are they created? Back links are created whenever someone has a link for your website on their website. The easiest way to make back links is by submitting your web content to article directories, websites, and blogs.

For instance, if you post an article on About.com, the smart thing to do is fill the article with links back to your website. Sometimes websites have restrictions on how many links you can have in your article, so a link to your website in your bio or signature is good as well. The search engines find this "back link" to your site on another web site, which tells them that your article is popular.

Successful backlinking is like a word of mouth popularity game. Whomever has the most links pointing to their site helps determine who gets the best ranking on the Search Engines. Also, a back link is better than a reciprocal link because if someone links to you, but you don't link back to them, it's like you're cooler than they are. Reciprocal linking is still a valuable tool to be utilized smartly, but back linking will bring you the most juice. The more back links you have, the more popular you are with search engines, and the higher you rank. Literally.

Article submission is widely recognized as one of the most effective strategies for optimizing search engine ranking. Creating plenty of back links with quality content is the single best strategy for driving traffic to your Small Business website and boosting your search engine ranking. In order to get more people to hit those links is to write articles and post newsworthy, keyword rich postings. Research which keywords people might search for to find your business, and use them in your articles. This will ensure that people who could be interested in your business' services will find you.

Always remember the first principle of search engine optimization: Rich content is the single most important determinant of search engine ranking. Write high-quality web content and blog posts, submit your content to article directories, and the search engine rankings will come.

Article Marketing - Key Words? What Are They and How Do They Relate to Article Marketing? Part III

In the last two articles you learned what key words are, what they are used for both from the perspective of a user or consumer (using key words to sort through data) and from the business owners perspective, (a way to identify groups of people with an interest in a specific topic).

In the last article I used the key words, *computer repair* as an example and said that this set of key words had been searched for 25,000 times in a month. Then we talked about how as a computer business owner, it is useful to know that information if you are looking for new customers.

Then, at the end of the article, I suggested that if you were a computer business owner you might ask how you would get your name in front of these potential customers. After that I asked a question that is an important part of understanding the potential of any business opportunity, and that is, how many other people are there trying to get their name in front of these potential customers?

You see, to fully understand the potential of an opportunity, not only do you have to know how many people might be interested in a particular product or service, but you have to know how much competition there is trying to supply that group with what they are looking for. In academia, they call this the law of supply and demand.

Let's look at the potential from two different perspectives to help you learn how you can determine the potential of an opportunity for yourself. But first you have to know about another number that is tracked on the internet. That is how many websites there are that provide information for a key word or key word set.

For example, if I did a search right now, try this for yourself if you like, on Google for the key words, *computer repair*, I see that Google says there are 9 million 620 thousand results for that search. Suddenly the 25,000 searches for the key words *computer repair* doesn't seem to be that large of a number. What does that tell us? It tells us that there is a lot of competition for people looking for information about computer problems.

Do you think it is going to be easy to make a lot of money fixing computers? In this example, it doesn't look like it. Not only are you going to have to spend a lot of money to stand out on the Internet to get your company noticed, but you will have to provide great service at a very competitive price to get your share and keep any of that business.

Just to contrast it, what if there were only 5,000 results total? Now, you have found an opportunity. Now back to the previous question, and that is how you are going to get the name of your company in front of these 25,000 potential customers. This is where the fun begins, because this is where article marketing ties all of these pieces together. Again, assuming from the research you did, you found this to be an opportunity you wanted to pursue.

The Do's and Don'ts of SEO

The wild and often oddly mythical world of search engine optimization (SEO) is filled with old wives' tales, facts, and a mix of the two. Separating fact from fiction is often far more complicated than you might think possible but with a few cold and hard facts as well as the do's and don'ts of SEO, you will be well on your way to having a site and content that search engines like and that will receive highly targeted web traffic.

1. Keyword density is an important component for SEO. Although not the one nail on which to hang your hat, the more desirable keywords your article contains, the better off you will be and the more visitors search engines will send your way. In other words, if you are writing about the importance of SEO and do not use this term until your final sentence, the odds are good that you have missed the boat. On the other hand, overuse the keywords so as to goad search engines to send you visitors, and you will have web traffic that jumps ship as soon as they read the beginning of your articles and the impossible linking of a bunch of buzz words and key terms. The trick to keyword density is balance.

2. SEO requires competition and niche thinking. If you are writing about the DeBeers lawsuit, you can bet that there will be a plethora of articles and websites dedicated to the same topic. While you may have some strong competition for the most commonly used keywords and phrases, make sure you also bolster your article or site with some rarer ones that the majority of your competition will not think about: the niche words. Thus, address the needs of the commercial diamond users at least in passing while offering information to the private consumer front and center.

3. Without relevant keywords, your SEO attempts are in vain. Who has not received the spam emails that contain gibberish of highly sought after terms? Sure, they might have tricked your spam filter, but they probably also ticked you off and you won't be caught dead buying from those spammers. Turning this around, do not try to trick visitors to come to your site by enlisting much sought after keywords that have nothing to do with the site's actual content.

Of course, no amount of SEO tweaking can replace the unique content to a website that attracts new visitors, and the sticky content that keeps them coming back. Do's and don'ts of SEO may cover the nuts and bolts approaches possible, but even the most relevant and organized by the book website will fail to appeal to a visitor if it does not have that wow factor which will set it apart from all the other websites that have read the same manual. It is in this little wildcard that the true genius of SEO strategies is revealed: the marriage between abiding by rules through the following of algorithms and high level creativity born of an understanding of consumer behavior.

Make Keyword Rich Content With Ease

The struggle between literate, grammatically correct article composition and keyword seeding should not exist at all. Search engines are able to figure out the relevance of the content on your website to a user's query. Therefore, an article filled with a jumble of keywords will have lesser relevance than a well-written article containing lesser keywords.

Internet marketers who need SEO articles commonly require grammatically correct and literate compositions from SEO writers like me. The more I read and write about how search engines function and how they equate relevance with a high search result ranking, the more I strive to place overall composition above keyword content.

With relevant articles on your website pertaining to your products, ideas or services, you get more chances of directing the correct kind of surfer traffic to your website. Of course, this will mean a decrease in bulky but irrelevant traffic. However, as a search engine user, I find it annoying to see search results that have no connection to what I need to find.

Admittedly, most web masters prefer bulk traffic over highly relevant web traffic. The more the merrier, so to speak. In my experience, surfing the web without any purpose becomes tedious. It gets even more tedious as your experience in web surfing grows. Nowadays, I specifically surf the web with a purpose in mind. Armed with that purpose, I single-mindedly search for what I need.

It would help me to find what I need faster if the descriptive content of your website were relevant to my search. Having a nicely composed descriptive article about the idea or object I am seeking will make your website more useful to me. Because your website has been highly informative and usable, I will return there again to see if you have something that I need.

In having relevant and highly descriptive articles, your website satisfies two totally different necessities. The more relevant necessity for you would be a high ranking search result. The lesser, and often times unnoticed necessity, is that of having satisfied your customer.

The more relevant your content is, the more chances you have of being able to direct your target market to your website. The percentage of people who buy your product will definitely increase as opposed to a decrease in just passing thru or wrong turn traffic. In counterpoint, the more relevant traffic you get, the higher your sales figures go up.

Targeting traffic that isn't really interested in your website almost serves no purpose. I definitely won't try to remember the name of a website that has nothing of what I need. Memory retention of a website by people is very much minimal unless it has served the people well. Furthermore, to be redirected to an irrelevant website by a search engine is very much an annoyance. These websites that bombard their content with nothing but keywords are now getting penalized and banned by search engines so that they can avoid sending people to the wrong place.

How would you feel if directory assistance gave you the wrong listing? Naturally, the supervisor at directory assistance will reprimand the agent who gave the wrong listing. It's the same thing with search engines and web site. Search engines are trying to provide internet surfers with good service in order to gain more traffic. The more traffic they have, the more expensive their advertising space becomes. Along comes a web master who abuses their system so that all traffic is directed to his website. How do you think a search engine operator will react to or against the evil web master?

As a successful Internet marketer I could not find all the niches without key word elite.
